A Brief Statement From GARBB Founder David Zane Jones
In May of 2010, a small group of Christian Brothers came together by way of the internet to consider the feasibility of establishing a Reformed Christian organization that would touch three of the major lands of the World, USA, India, and Africa. We together prayed and decided to name this organization The Global Association of Reformed Baptist Brothers. All of those taking part were motivated by a deep appreciation for the commandment: Go Ye Therefore”. Some had been educated in past years by many hours of independent studies. Some had enrolled in Christian colleges. All of those involved were convinced of the necessity of expressing the reign of Christ in the area of reformed education and of planting Reformed Baptist Churches throughout the land. This group, composed of believers from various different churches, was convinced that the establishment and maintenance of an organization committed to Reformed teachings and Biblical principles would greatly benefit the diverse communities of the Nations involved.
To this end, G.A.R.B.B. unanimously agreed that the purpose of the organization would be to establish and maintain many church plants built on the foundation of the Apostles with the Chief Cornerstone Jesus Christ as its Head. And that the doctrines of Grace would be taught in accordance with the Bible, God’s infallible and inerrant Word, as it is interpreted by the following Reformed Baptist Standard, The London Baptist Confession of Faith 1689.
It is our intention that this organization will direct everyone associated in the joyous task and God-given responsibility to educate His people to understand and carry out the kingdom claims of Christ in all of life and to plant Reformed Baptist Churches.
