Welcome to my underground storage vault. This is where I intend to file documents for long term storage. Eventually , when the quantity of material becomes unmanagable, I will try to make an index available. But in the mean time you will just have to browse through these things at your leisure. When you click on the title here in the vault, you will get either a PDF or a plain text document, whatever is available. Most items are PDF's. I have decided against filing things here by date, since none of this material is time specific.
An Old Baptist Declaration of Faith By J. Newton Brown DD
This a concise and accurate statement of Dr Brown's beliefs. It used to be common for ministers to issue personal statements of faith. I think the practice is good, because it solidifies your theology, and it gives people an accurate way to assess your teachings. Mine is a work in progress, but it is more detailed than this one by Dr Brown. I do not hold to Dr. Brown's view of the law and the Sabbath, but I respect his position and it does represent the widely held historical Covenant Theology position.
