I have been an avid writer throughout my ministerial career. I feel that writing adds an element of permanence that is lacking in the word as it is preached and taught. Often I’ve made my writings available as lessons, outlines, booklets, tracts, Bible studies and books. These were always printed and distributed in small quantities, which only reached the people I was preaching to or teaching at the time. Later I tried publishing a church newspaper called “The Word of Grace”. That was appropriate since the name of the church I was serving at the time was “Grace Church”. I published lots of articles and sermons, lessons and studies. But I only did that for a few years, and to my chagrin all the material which I published was destroyed in a computer malfunction. That was back when computers were not like they are today.
Now I seem to have moved full circle, and I’m concerned at this point, that I should concentrate on obtaining a wider audience for the type of Biblical, Theological, Philosophical, and Apologetic material which I have offered over the years. I always emphasize the Bible, and I have lot’s of material available, but since I’m a two finger typist it takes me a long time to produce it. But it is coming little by little. I’m like a snail, I just keep sliding along under God’s grace and leadership.
This series, called “THE UNSEEN WORLD AROUND US” has seven books planned, but that could increase or decrease depending on how the Lord leads. The subject matter here is very broad…basically everything which cannot readily be seen. It also addresses questions of angels, demons, the paranormal, aliens, UFO’s, dinosaurs and even some crypto zoology. There are hundreds of fascinating subjects to study.
