Prayer is the most neglected area of Christian ministry and life. We seem to think that if we kneel and ask God for something that we have prayed. Asking and receiving is certainly part of prayer, but it is not the most important part. Listening to God, being in His presence and being changed by the experience is also part of prayer.
I would like to introduce a new ministry focus I have recently undertaken that features the spoken word, guided prayer, specially arranged and orchestrated original versions of the classic hymns of the faith, and verses from the King James Bible. I call this transformational prayer. It is very relaxing, very calming. There are a variety of sessions on numerous life and spiritual issues which will benefit you if you have particular issues or struggles. Transformational prayer cannot be taught in a classroom, because it is an actual and intimate communion with God. It can however be demonstrated. Start with these full length audio albums. They are a great introduction, and the funds generated will be used to schedule and promote these prayer retreats.
